I've been working on a few low-profile utility tools for touchdesigner, in an attempt resolve the little things that slow me down.
So here is the first version of my auto midi mapper.
You simply drop it at root level, hover over the parameter you want to map, hold 'Q', send a midi signal, then release 'Q' and it will automatically map to the parameter.
Current issues:
The hover function is somewhat unreliable.
Mapping is currently normalising between 0-1 and only tested with ctrl and note on/off
Auto mapping is not playing nice or fully compatible with all parameters styles; pairs, tuples.
Mapping is not scaled to the parameter. For example, when mapping to a drop down list of 10 items, it will only control between 0 and 1; Currently working on this.
Please give it a go and let me know if there are any problems or things that could be improved on!
