Always a bit dangerous, so you never know for sure, as MS sometimes uses tricks to compromise such things because they want to have their own software in the system so they can snoop around. The developers of such tools could also have certain undesirable intentions, and you never know for sure.
I've always been impressed by such things, especially with file managers, but it can be risky—not necessarily, but it can be, and who can guarantee somthing?
I can say that search everything from voidtools is miles better then anything on search from windows itself. Testing this filepilot now..so far so good
Evrithing has been tried and tested for many years and is well known for not causing problems, & big+, as it's open source. However, things are completely different with "FilePilot"! But everyone has to know for themselves who they're entrusting their data to. Installing a file manager opens the door for the developer to have some kind of negative intention or hidden secrets. But, as I said, everyone has to decide for themselves.
Evrithing from voidtools (voidtools.com/) definitely has absolutely nothing to do with "FilePilot"! & so I don't know why you're throwing in such confusing information!
