It seems to me that it is based on ISFs or respectively Shadertoy codes which are under CC licenses for "non-commercial use". The fact that it is this Plugin within maybe satch code now being sold and for a lot of money is therefore rather questionable for me.
OK, only a look at the Wire-Patch would provide final clarification. But it certainly seems very suspicious to me, although I am not claiming that it is so, but it certainly seems that way.
&!!!! This suspicion has already crossed my mind a couple of times on other occasions with this plugin developer.

Inigo Quilez would not be happy, I would say for once!!

I've addressed your concerns on the YouTube comments.

How Shadertoy can be compared to Wire is beyond me, a bit like comparing Lego to Watercolour. There is no code in my Wire patches so being acused of using code with CC licenses is beyond laughable.

As I've pointed out this plugin is inspired by Marcel Duchamp and his work from the 1920's, I've been very clear about that. If the stuff you mention looks like it, maybe you should ask the developer if he was inspired by Marcel Duchamp and never mentioned it!

I forgot to add that I originally created a very similar thing with Flash circa 2001.
